I will be honest and say that I have not been the Christian I should be. Like most I get caught up in the daily routines of work and family. Forget to wake up each day and thank the Lord. Avoid making time to read the Lord's glorious words. I make stupid excuses to avoid attending Sunday school and church. I have made more of an effort over the past couple of months, but not enough.
However, attending the Pentecost celebration got me to thinking about how good the Lord has been to me and my family. How blessed we truly are.
This week I will do my best to take part in a "Bible in 90 Days" Challenge that some of my friends from JustMommies and I decided to participate in. It was brought up by one of the members and we thought it was a great idea. Basically, we are to read 12 pages a day and discuss our readings on the board. Everyone started last Monday, so I have some catching up to do. My main reason for joining in is because it will give me some discipline. A purpose, an important one, to get away from this computer of mine. Plus it will help me in this journey with the Lord.
So, we will see what I can accomplished. I will try to keep you posted.
