Easter celebration actually started on Saturday for us. One of Little Ernest's football teammates had an Easter party. The boys had a ball playing with all the children there. Running around and playing in the water. For me it was nice being around adults and having adult conversions for a change. I really don't do much so it was nice and relaxing. Robert even received $5 from the Easter egg hunt they had with the only egg he found. Ernest was a tad jealous of it, but he will be ok...lol. The boys had a great time which is all that matters.
Anyhow, Easter was even better. They began with us attending church service. I hadn't been to church in some time which I know is sad, but it was mostly because of transportation. It felt great to be there, though. The pastor gave a great sermon as usual and they children were great with their dance, speeches, and play.
Spent the evening at my mother-in-laws for dinner and family time. We laughed and had great food. Thee kids had an Easter egg hunt and had a blast. By the end of the night me and my boys were exhausted. Well, at least I was...lol.
I think one part that made this year extra great for me was that it was the first time in a long time that I had all 3 of my boys with me for this holiday. Cordell is now older and he will be having his own holiday celebrations. So it was great to spend this one with him.
